Hepatitis C Information Day

The Muslim Woman’s Welfare Association of Australian recently hosted a hepatitis C awareness programme highlighting the importance of recognizing symptoms, the vital need for diagnosis and treatment.

The session comprised of a video explaining the symptoms, how the disease is spread and precautions needed to stop the spreading of this disease.

Following the video the audience were given a chance to ask questions regarding the topic. Many interesting questions arose which were answered adequately by the guest speaker.

The information session was concluded with a prize draw followed by a light lunch.
