MWWA would like to extend its deepest condolences to the victims and to the people of New Zealand. The attacks were nothing short of callous, targeting people while they were at their most vulnerable. Attacks such as these have no place in our society. The doors of mosques are open as a sign of welcoming prayer and for people to be focused on their acts of worship. We urge the Muslim community to remain strong during this time of sorrow and to rise in strength and resilience during this dark day and to finally keep their mosques open as they always were and shall remain.
